In this video Tom Ritz, President of Awesun Renewable Energy explains the benefits of leasing solar.
Here is a testimonial given by Diane Minion, homeowner in Elizabeth, Colorado.
Awesun Energy was our contractor with whom we worked to get solar panels at our residence. During this two month process we have been pleased with the facets of the operation from first meeting Tom to the completion of the project.
Tom’s personal qualities are of a professional manner. He is punctual for appointments, knowledgeable, resourceful, respectful of our property, and demonstrates a soft spoken demeanor. Tom and his crew have been a pleasure to work with and we are very happy with our decision to give our business to Awesun Energy.
Throughout the process, Tom provides his clients with consistent communication and provides a clear and well organized notebook of everything included in the project upon its completion. We are satisfied and we know that you will be too. You’re welcome to drive by and look at our chosen solar panels.
Respectfully,
Diane Minion
Trivia Question:
How much time does it take the Earth to receive as much solar energy as mankind uses over the course of an entire year for transportation, electricity , manufacturing, heating and cooling of buildings, etc.?
a) Six months
b) One week
c) One day
d) One hour
Answer:
The correct answer is d. In a little over an hour the Earth absorbs as much solar energy as is required to keep the human economy moving for a whole year. Most of mankind’s energy currently comes from fossil fuels, ancient plant and animal bodies that originally got their energy from the Sun but over time were compressed into compact sources that release useful energy when burned.
Renewable energy proves itself reliable, and now a huge part of our nation’s energy portfolio.
Awesome!

This could be your house! Very cool….
This residential solar installation is made up of a 4.23 kilowatt array mounted on the roof of this client’s home. The system is tied to the grid and “sells” excess energy to the utility company. This system also includes a battery backup system that can power the home for up to 2 full days in the event of a utility blackout. Our customer expects the solar system to provide all of their energy needs, while the clean energy will offset 9,500 pounds of carbon per year, or the equivalent of planting 120 trees.
Watch this informative video for basics on how solar energy works. A solar energy system for your home is one of the best investments you can make. Smart Energy toward a Clean & Healthy Environment!
